About Us

Five Star Veterans Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping displaced and at-risk veterans transition to independent living. Since March 2012, our center has provided safe, short-term housing, comprehensive mental health support, and intensive workforce re-entry programs. We specialize in assisting veterans to overcome addiction and financial hardships, with a core focus on treating PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI).

At the core of our mission is the Passport to Independence Program, a structured 12-month residential framework. This specialized veteran rehabilitation program utilizes the multi-phase PERMA framework—Planning, Embarkation, Rehearsal, Movement, and Action—to guide residents from crisis to self-sufficiency. By combining mental health care, financial literacy, and job readiness training, the program boasts a 91% employment success rate.

Today, Five Star Veterans Center can accommodates up to 40 residents at our supportive facility. Through our signature Passport to Independence initiative, we empower military heroes to heal, re-enter the workforce, and build sustainable, independent lives.
